Pyro Bloom is an on-going art project by Marcus Dove aimed at making contemporary and innovative artwork accessible to everyone interested in owning something original and unique for their surroundings. Each piece of artwork is scorched with plumes of colour from the artist’s signature use of smoke grenades, to then create the most modern examples of floral artwork suitable for all environments. No two pieces of original art within this regularly updated series will be the same and all pieces come framed, signed and delivered for an affordable price.

“Affordability was one of the main factors when coming up with this idea, not everyone can afford a high-priced £20,000+ piece of contemporary art and prices like these only reinforce the view many people have of the art world being a bit pretentious. I can understand the frustration and somewhat relate, so as well as making high priced pieces of work I also wanted to develop a branch of my pyrotechnical art which is accessible to everyone. Growing up I wouldn’t have been able to afford contemporary art, so why would I then go on to only make work with high price tags and exclude a whole class of people?

What I have made is a range of original artwork that will continue to grow and not only aesthetically appeal to a wider audience, but is also at a more accessible price point than my other projects. This accessibility comes in the form of Pyro Bloom.”
