Inspired by Neron, a black jaguar at The Big Cat Sanctuary in Kent.
Unlike most black jaguars, Neron’s rosettes are unusually visible, emerging through his dark coat. His colouring is deepest around his head and shoulders, gradually becoming lighter towards his tail.
Danielle captures his unique dip-dye like effect through unlikely colours and energetic mark-making, revealing the subtle patterns and unlikely colours within his coat.
A celebration of one of nature’s most elusive predators, Neron reflects Danielle’s wider mission: using art to connect people with wildlife and support its conservation.
Danielle has collaborated with WWF, TUSK, The Big Cat Sanctuary and many others.
